pavilion kuala lumpur VS bukit bintang girl school (BBGS)

I writting this based on Fatin Amirah story just now. And i was pretty shocked bout it. Even this post is not related with my life, i just want to sharing this with u all. The story tittle beginning with: Pavilion and Bukit Bintang Girl School :)

1st of all i want to introduce the school was named Bukit Bintang Girl School (BBGS). Bukit Bintang Girls' School (BBGS) opened in 1893 with Miss Betty Langlands teaching girls to read in Brickfiels, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formerly known as The Chinese Girls' School, BBGS gained its name after moving to its premises on Bukit Bintang Road in 1930. BBGS was the oldest school in Kuala Lumpur, surpassing Victoria Institution, Methodist Boys' School Kuala Lumpur, Convent Bukit Nanas, St. John's Institution, Kuala Lumpur as well as Maxwell School. Its students are known as BBGSians .

In 2000, the school changed its name to S.M.K Seri Bintang Utara (SBU). It was moved to a new location at Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Cheras and was established as one of the first Smart Schools in Malaysia. The BBGS landmark on Bukit Bintang Road was demolished to make way for Pavilion KL, a commercial site in Kuala Lumpur.

Okay done.!! Now i just want to let you know where the named of shopping complex Pavilion came from?! HEHE. Malas nk merepek lagi dlm english. So i'll be translate in BM oke :)

Erm, kalau ada yang dah tau. Dataran perhimpunan SMKSBU dinamakan sebagai Star Lite. Star Lite juga digunakan masa BBGS masih wujud dulu2. And unutk nama PAVILION. Ade sebuah pondok di BBGS dinamakan sebagai Pavilion. So, nama shoping kompleks Pavilion skang ni diambil daripada pondok sekolah BBGS. Shopping kompleks Pavilion yg u all selalu pegi tu adalah tapak asal BBGS dan telah dirobohkan untuk membina Pavilion. Kalau x silap, dekat SMKSBU ada satu muzium sejarah BBGS (kalau x silap lah).
